We're looking for an experienced PHP developer available to do side work roughly 10-60 hrs a month on a per-project basis. We're a small company and need some help picking up overflow when we get busy, so it's hard to say exactly how much work will be given, but repeat work is certainly likely. USA programmers are preferred. The ideal candidate will be a pro in the following areas:
- PHP
- MySQL
- Javascript/HTML/CSS/XML/AJAX
- English: Excellent grammar is required
- Photoshop
- Flash/AS is also a plus, but not required
The ideal candidate will also be experienced and comfortable working in most (but not necessarily all) of the following open source packages:
- vTiger
- Joomla
- adoDB
- Smarty
- fPDF
- osCommerce
Basically, we'd like to have someone on call to pass work to who can give us a fairly fast turn-around for most projects. Compensation is negotiable, we'd like to hear what you have in mind.
Please contact opportunity@sarmacreative.com
No phone calls please, I'm busy trying to get all this work done!

PHP : OOP In Full Effect
Welcome to part one of the "Application Design" series.
This series intends to show you how to create extensible applications with reusable code. In this first part you will be introduced to OOP in PHP.
This article is an overview of what PHP has to offer with respect to OOP, with examples on how to use these concepts.
If you have wanted to grasp OOP, but haven't come around to learning it, this article is for you. If you've read some "Hello World" in OOP tutorial, gotten familiar with OO syntax but are interested in learning more, this article is for you too.
PHP 5 has been released for quite some time, putting more stress on Object Orientated development for PHP. PHP 5 comes with a new object model, a lot faster and adding a lot of new features. There are workarounds to mimic some of these features in PHP 4, some of which are covered in this article. Nevertheless, the main focus is on PHP5.

Server Side Scripting
Server Side Scripting
Hi All,
Have a look on the following list
Microsoft designed solution allowing various languages (though generally VBscript is used) inside a HTML-like outer page, mainly used on Windows but with limited support on other platforms.
Cross platform tag based commercial server side scripting system.
ESP or Escapade was written in 1997 by Ed Carp, and enjoys wide use in Europe, but has had limited acceptance in the
A Java-based system for embedding code in HTML pages.
A Datasource neutral interpreted programming language and cross platform server.
Common opensource solution based on including code in its own language into an HTML page.
A language generally used on the client side but also occasionally on the server side.
Lisplike opensource language designed to be embedded into an HTML page.
A fairly basic system which is part of the common apache web server. Not a full programming environment by far but still handy for simple things like including a common menu.
What is more important to you: the money or the work?
Money is always important, but the work is the most important. There is no better answer.
Money and work both are like siblings. But I believe when you work hard; money will flow to you. So work is more important than money. Only hard work can help you put another feather in your success cap.
Money Or Work ???
Well !!! i'll prefer money while working...............i'm greedy...wont' b satisfied by any one of these !!! I need both !!
for me work is the important because if we work perfectly and properly,we well get another feather to fly high.
