Vegetable Pulao

Ingredients :

2 cups Rice 1 Carrot 1 Capsicum1 cup Peas 2 Potato 1 Onion ½ cup Butter ½ tsp Cumin Powder ½ tsp Mustard seeds ½ cup Tamarind Paste 1 tbsp Crushed Red Chilies 1 tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste ½ bunch Coriander 2 tbsp Oil Salt to taste



Preparation :

In a pan take oil. Put chopped onion, garlic ginger paste, and mustard seeds in the pan and slightly fry.
Add carrot, peas, capsicum, and potato and slightly sauté. Add half cup water and cook to tenderness.
Add salt, cumin powder, and crushed red chili and sauté again. When the vegetables are cooked, add tamarind paste, butter and pre-boiled rice in it and leave to cook.
Dish it out after 5 minutes.
